These babies pretty pay themselves off in less than a year. Green coffee is much less expensive than roasted, just about 1/2. The other neat thing is green coffee is stable it doesnt really go bad, although it is best used within a year. This means you can keep a "cellar" of green coffees and roast what type of coffee you feel like. It looks great in decorative jars on your counter.
If you are handy in the kitchen and want to amaze and dazzle your friends with your skill and fresh coffee, this is where it is at.
Everyone roasted their own coffee at home at one time and it really is a lost art. Todays machines make it quite easy and fun!
