Just picked up some Harrar and Galapagos this morning along with an AeroPress coffee maker.
While waiting for my espresso machine to heat up I tried out the AeroPress with the old beans in my grinder. I wasn't expecting anything special with my fist use but was pleasantly surprized at the smoothness of that first cup. Looking forward to experimenting with it some more in the future.
With my espresso machine up to temp. and my grinder full of the fresh Harrar, I was ready to pull my first shot of the day. Wow, what a beautiful looking shot it was and the flavour was fantastic. Bordering on a God shot. Especially amazing for the first shot ever pulled of a new coffee. Of course I had to try again and although the second shot didn't look as pretty as the first , I seemed to notice the subtle taste of blueberries this time around. Great job roasting the Harrar. Looking forward to trying out the Galapagos soon.

Had your coffee this past weekend at the London Market. Wow, best cup I have ever had. I am certainly glad I bought a pound and will definitely be back next weekend!
Thanks for the great advice!

It was great to meet you today. We feel we must weigh in on the Pike Place Market photo debate. We're sure you picked that photo because it shows a public market sign and a coffee cup. Only folks familiar with Seattle would recognize it. As it happens, while Peterborough is Dave's hometown, he lived in the Pacific Northwest for almost 30 years and Anna is a Seattle native, so when we saw the photo we laughed and said, perhaps it's a sign! Can't wait to try the coffee and we'll be in touch.

We just came across your site and appreciate what you're going through in growing your business. I would have to agree with a previous poster's comment about the Pike Public Market image from Seattle.
We are from Portland, Oregon and when I saw that image, thought I had gone to the website of a roaster in Seattle rather than London, Ontario. There have to be some stunning images of London available.
Best of luck to you with your future growth.

Congratulations on the success of your new venture! I discovered you through an article in the Globe online, and am excited to try your coffee! I love being able to support fair-trade coffee through a Canadian operation! Would love to see a Canadian iconic coffee marker rather than Seattle's Pike Place Market on the top of your web-page. (A little too Starbucks for my taste)

Hi Dave. I just read your article on the globe online, and came over to check out the site. I placed an order but found it hard initially to figure out where the coffee was listed for sale. It didn't take too long and I did figure it out.
Best of luck. Would love to see a store of yours out here in Saskatoon.

God love free marketing and the effects it has on small companies such as yours.
I read the article on business reports and had to see your website.
As a business student it is great to see a small business owner dealing with the intricacies of managing thier own fate as discussed in a classroom environement.
when I travel to london, I will be sure to sample your products and have a look around to see how things are going.
Best of luck to you

Dave, thanks for taking the time to give me some instruction on home roasting. The batch we roasted has already been ground, brewed, and consumed. We are currently trying some of your coffees and we are very pleased! We will be back for more! Also, I was very impressed with the Art Roastery. It seemed like an ideal spot for a cup of coffee and some coffee-talk.
