This coffee is grown at an elevation of 4,500 ft. near Volcán Barú among oranges, strawberries.. Here the combination of rich volcanic soil, a consistently cool microclimate, and high altitude creates a very well balanced coffee with a good body and lovely aroma. The beans are handpicked up to five times during a season so that ripe beans alone are included in the harvest.
