Hello everyone, I have some exciting and late breaking news that I want you to hear from us. As most of our customers and friends know we started our company in the London Farmers Market at the Western Fairgrounds in London Ontario. The market was a wonderful experience for us and allowed us to take our coffee from the roaster to the customer ourselves and listen to what you thought of it. Well it sure was a model that worked for us as we have since grown become the destination of choice for coffee lovers and cafes in the area. We are a company with our roots still firmly planted in the local market scene. We love the markets! We have a Fire Roasted Coffee stand in each of the four local markets that operate in London, not all of them we run ourselves, but we certainly put alot of love into each roast that goes to them. An opportunity came up recently which has created a new but aligned focus for us. We have purchased the London Farmers Market. The current owner Wim Overbeek from Woodstock was looking for someone local with a track record of market experience that wanted to take the market to the next level. He found it under his own market roof. Wim had already established a solid base for the two years of operation so it was easy decision for us to get involved. So what does this mean going forward for Fire Roasted Coffee? Patrick and Jay will be picking up some of the responsibility that will be created by my 2-3 days of focus on the market. Patrick will be doing more of the sales and management aspect of the business and Jay responsiblities of roasting the good stuff will expand to include ordering, and leading production in Patricks absence. Nothing will change, still the ultimate coffee experience and wholesale support available anywhere. So please come visit the London Farmers Market and give us your thoughts regarding what you like, what is missing or what can be improved. After all, your feedback is what we owe our success to with Fire Roasted Coffee so why should we change a thing. Thanks Dave Cook
